Louis Icart: La Paresse [Laziness]
Icart became known for his Art-Deco colour etchings of glamourous women, using a combination of techniques. He often used his wife, Fanny, as his model. By the 1920s the Art Deco movement gained great popularity in Europe as well as the Unites States. Icart's etchings reached their height of brilliance in this era of Art Deco, and the artist had become the symbol of the epoch.
