Etching and aquatint. Signed, numbered and titled. Edition of 50. Size of sheet: 77 x 95.5 cm (plate: 60 x 79 cm). In mint condition.

 

Provenance: Collection of Professor F W Bullock (who acquired from the artist at the RA Summer Exhibition in 2001).

David Glück: Baptistry in Florence

  • A Yorkshire man, Glück studied at Wakefield College of Art and Leeds College of Art before taking a postgraduate diploma in printmaking in 1962 at the Royal College of Art. In 1974, he was appointed Head of Printmaking at Central St Martin's College of Art and Design - becoming Director of Studies of the Fine Arts Course. For eight years, from 1985 to 1993, he was also a member of the Printmaking Panel of the British School of Rome. He was also a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, the London Group, the New English Art Club, and the Society of Landscape Painters.
